Description of the methods for collection/generation of data: Seventeen elite female handball players participated in this study. Players were selected based on playing position and upper- and lower-limb dominance, all having extensive strength-training experience and proper squat technique. One-repetition maximum (1RM) squat and performance at 65% 1RM were recorded, along with limb dominance and injury history. Players with current injuries or relevant musculoskeletal injuries in the previous six months were excluded. Body composition was assessed via anthropometry and bioelectrical impedance analysis. Participants performed standardized back squats at 65% 1RM following a RAMP warm-up and familiarization. Six experimental conditions combined three wedge inclinations (0°, 10°, 30°) and two biofeedback conditions. Custom EVA wedges were placed under the hallux to induce MTPJ dorsiflexion. Surface EMG of bilateral abductor hallucis and medial gastrocnemius muscles was recorded, normalized to MVC, and analyzed using RMS and %MVC. 2. Data processing methods The methodology for data collection was carefully planned to ensure an effective and well-structured procedure. The main variables of interest were thoroughly reviewed, and the data acquisition process was systematically designed. Once data collection was completed, a comprehensive database was created in Excel, clearly detailing all variables. The dataset was subsequently transferred to SPSS software, where each variable was fully defined and labeled to facilitate statistical analysis. 3. Software or instruments needed to interpret the data: Statistical analyses were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics v30.0 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA). The significance level was set at p < 0.05, although values in the range 0.05 < p < 0.10 were also reported as statistical trends, considering the exploratory nature of the study and the moderate sample size. 4. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: Electromyographic recordings followed SENIAM recommendations for electrode placement and signal acquisition. The EMG system was factory-calibrated prior to data collection, and signal quality was checked before each session. 5. Environmental or experimental conditions: All measurements were conducted in a controlled laboratory environment under stable ambient conditions. Data acquisition and processing were performed on a dedicated workstation using the manufacturer’s EMG software, with identical settings applied to all participants.
