1. Description of the methods for collection/generation of data: 

Adolescents participated voluntarily and anonymously (prior consent from educational centres and legal tutors) filling out a pencil-and-paper some questionnaires at two time points, with a period of 16-24 weeks between the data collections.

The dataset is distributed in two files in .csv format. The current documento provides information on Study 2 on:
   -Random number assigned to the participant
   -Sociodemographic variables: source_database, Centre, Gender, Age, Nationality, and study grade
   -Date of collection of time 1 and time 2
   -Participants' response to each item in each questionnaire

Variable name: Spanish version of the Teacher Emotionally Intelligent Behavior Scale
 	Description: Spanish version of Teacher Emotionally Intelligent Behavior Scale (Extremera et al., in press)  
	Units of measure or value labels: 6-point Likert ranging from 1 to 6. Each value in the range is specified in the database.

Value labels: T2_DASS
Variable name: depression and anxiety symptoms
 	Description: Spanish version of Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (Bados et al., 2005)
	Units of measure or value labels: 4-point Likert ranging from 0 to 3. Each value in the range is specified in the database.
Factors were computed and are included in the database (depression and anxiety)

Variable name: Positive and Negative Affect Schedule
 	Description: Spanish version of the Perceived Stress Scale (Sandín et al., 1999)
