| dc.description | This study examines the impact of undervalued feminine forms in professional titles among Italian female professionals on LinkedIn. A corpus of 643 profiles was collected from profiles of women in law and architecture from Milan, Rome, and Naples. Using corpus analysis tools, the study found a preference for unmarked masculine forms, indicating resistance to adopting feminine forms despite long-standing linguistic recommendations. This reflects ongoing sexism and androcentrism in Italian language and society. | es_ES |
