Exilio interior y tercera España: el caso de Revista de Occidente.

Abstract

Este artículo revisa el reflotamiento de la editorial Revista de Occidente en los años cuarenta, cincuenta y sesenta del pasado siglo con la intención de determinar si el liberalismo subyacente a su fundación alimentó tras su relanzamiento posbélico lo que se ha dado en llamar la tercera España, y en tal caso, de dónde procedió el impulso y si participó el conjunto de asesores de los que se rodeó su director para su reflote.

This paper examines, first, the revival of the Revista de Occidente in the forties, fifties and sixties of the twentieth century, in order to determine whether the liber- alism that underpinned its foundation in the previous decade also fueled the so-called Third Spain after its postwar relaunch. In this case, the second purpose is to deter- mine where this impulse came from and whether the group of advisors surrounding the director participated in it.
