This study aims to analyze the psychometric properties of the tools used to measure the quality of mobile health (mHealth) apps. The researchers searched databases for mHealth app quality measurement tools and validation studies associated with them. They analyzed the measurement tools according to the psychometric properties described in the COSMIN guide. The study found 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria, and 8 measurement tools were analyzed. Four of these tools validated at least 5 psychometric properties. While some tools only measured usability, others provided information on engagement, aesthetics, and functionality. Two measurement tools had both user and professional versions. The Health Information Technology Usability Evaluation Scale and the Measurement Scales for Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use were the most validated tools, but they were mainly focused on usability. Overall, this study highlights the need for more comprehensive tools that consider multiple aspects of mHealth app quality.es_ES
