Litigios entre los escribanos públicos malagueños : sus actuaciones profesionales en el ámbito judicial como fuente de conflictos

Abstract

Los escribanos públicos conformaban un grupo homogéneo, unido frente a las injerencias de otros colectivos. Sin embargo, eran frecuentes los conflictos derivados de cuestiones profesionales, especialmente en el ámbito de la Justicia, por ser una sustanciosa fuente de ingresos. Numerosos pleitos por esta cuestión acababan en la Real Chancillería de Granada. Esta fuente, junto a los datos que nos proporcionan los Archivos de Protocolos notariales, nos permite conocer el procedimiento interno y las disputas en la esfera judicial, como analizaremos en este artículo, a través, principalmente de un pleito protagonizado por dos escribanos de Ronda en 1603.The notary publics conformed a homogenous group, united front to the interferences of other groups. Nevertheless, the conflicts derived from professional questions were frequent, specially in the scope of Justice, being a substantial source of income. Numerous lawsuits by this question finished in the Real Chancillería of Granada. This source, next to the data that provide the Archives to us of notarial Protocols, allows us to know the internal procedure and the disputes in the judicial sphere, as we analyze in this article, to traverse, mainly of a lawsuit carried out by two notary publics of Ronda in 1603.
