En la localidad malagueña de Cártama se realizaron excavaciones arqueológicas en
ocasiones diversas durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. En este artículo se analizan a partir de una
serie de documentos manuscritos conservados en la Real Academia de la Historia de Madrid las
que se hicieron en los años 1833 y 1834
