Se concluye en este artículo el trabajo iniciado en una fecha anterior, sobre las estatuas
romanas recogidas en la obra Antigüedades romanas del erudito español Céan Bermúdez, como
índice del conocimiento que se poseía, a finales del siglo XVIII y principios del XIX, de estos
monumentos de antigüedad y el interés que por ellos tuvieron los estudiosos e ilustrados del
momento.
This article concludes with the work started out in earlier date, about Roman statues included in the scholar Spanish Cean Bermudez’s work of “Roman antiquities” , as an index of knowledge possessed, in the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth century, abour these monuments of antiquity and the interest that scholars and illustrated men at that time were.
