The paper deals with the many different ways in which Oscar Wilde's trials in 1895 still affect contemporary narratives of queer desire between men. Focusing on neo-Victorian representations of homoeroticism, the paper argues that fantasy provides an interesting element through which to overcome the traumatic aspects of Wilde's past that still linger in this kind of fiction.es_ES
