Abstract

Fue España durante el siglo XIX el destino de investigadores e historiadores europeos. En este artículo analizaremos las figuras de los arqueólogos franceses, Arthur Engel y Pierre Paris, cuyo trabajo en el sur y en el levante español sería de gran valor para el conocimiento del mundo ibérico.Spain was during century XIX the destiny of investigators and European historians. In this article we will analyze the figures of the French archaeologists, Arthur Engel and Pierre Paris, whose work in the south and the Spanish East would be of great value for the knowledge of the Iberian world.
