Why Heidegger still matters?

Abstract

In this presentation I will defend the relevance of Heidegger’s thinking for our time. He has always been a disturbing philosopher, both because of his involvement with National Socialism and because of the fundamental and radical character of his thought. In the second part of my presentation I will focus on the question what are the goals and means of contemporary Heidegger-research.
