En este escrito se valora la trayectoria investigadora del Profesor Alberto Balil Illana, con motivo de los veinte años de su fallecimiento. Se ponen de manifiesto, a juicio del autor, los logros más destacados, las enseñanzas más fructíferas y la proyección en la actualidad de este gran maestro de la Arqueología española.In this writing is valued the Professor Alberto Balil Illana’s research career on the occasion of the twenty years after his death. In the opinion of the author, it’s highlighted the outstanding achievements, lessons more meaningful and current importance of this great master of Spanish Archeology.
