The purpose of this proposal is to present the theoretical and methodological basis and objectives of a innovative online exhibition about sensoriality, art and scenographic culture between the 16th and the 18th centuries, developed within the framework of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation's R+D+i project: "Scenographic culture in the Hispanic context of the Modern Age: A holistic approach", and in collaboration with the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. The exhibition format is based on the research currently being carried out by an international and interdisciplinary team made up of art historians, theatre historians and musicologists, most of whom have experience in the design and development of the type of virtual exhibition proposed here, which, as the title itself indicates, is interactive and inclusive. The theme is focused on highlighting the sensorial aspects of the artistic and scenographic culture of the past. Our aim is to make the exhibition accessible to a wide range of social sectors: educational centres at different levels, researchers, museums, etc. and, at the same time, to make it approachable to people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities. The virtual exhibition plays with sensory perception and aims to activate the user/visitor's own sensory experiences through an original combination of visual (hyper-resolution images) and sound sources, as well as through a studied implementation of animations and other innovative digital resources. According to these premises, the content of the exhibition will revolve around five thematic axes, coinciding with the role of the five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch in the ephemeral and artistic culture of the 16th-18th centuries.es_ES
