Abstract
pacifista y secularizador.
This article examines the origins, discourses and experiences of Belén de Sárraga, one of the most representative example of the laicism and the panamericanism. The long history of Sárraga is linked to the vicissitudes of radical republicanism, to laicism, to masonic works, to the development of the first wave of anticlericalism of the 20 th century, as well as to the evolution of the feminist postulates. The espiritualist heterodoxy created transgressor discourses and ways of live that generated culture in four fronts: education, journalism, pacifism and laicism.
