Abstract
The struggle between France and the Kingdom of Aragon for the control of the territory historically known as the County of Roussillon became one of the greatest problems between the two countries. This paper briefly reviews a series of written testimonies of various kinds dating from the fifteenth and the sixteenth centuries, which illustrate the subject of Roussillon from different points of view and according to the political circumstances of that time.
