Los procuradores de causas y la capacitación en el derecho castellano medieval y moderno : los factores jurídicos y técnicos

Abstract

La reiteración con que, durante todo el Antiguo Régimen, los diferentes cuerpos dispositivos inciden en la idoneidad que debía caracterizar a cualquier miembro de la burocracia castellana nos da la medida de la continua trasgresión de esa exigencia. A través de dicha legislación, no solo de índole general sino también territorial y local, observamos el tratamiento, incluso a veces la escrupulosidad, con que se abordaba el problema. Entre los numerosos oficios, objeto de tal sistematización, encontramos a los procuradores de causas, protagonistas, en esta ocasión, de nuestro estudio.

The reiteration that, during all the Old Regime, the different legislative bodies insisted on the suitability that had to characterize to any member of the Castilian bureaucracy gives us the idea of the continuous transgression of that exigency. Through this legislation, not only of general but territorial and also local nature, we observed the treatment, even sometimes the scrupulousness, whereupon the problem was approached. Between the numerous occupations, object of such systematization, we found the procurators of causes, protagonists, in this occasion, of our study.
