Introduction to Queer Theory and Literary Analysis

Abstract

This presentation is part of a workshop organized for ASYRAS (Association of Young Researchers on Anglophone Studies) and has also been used in some of my literary courses as an introduction to Queer Theory in relation to literary analysis. I have also used it to guide “TFG” and “TFM” students who are beginning to work in this field and that have been tutorized by me. The slides contain some of the main tenets of this area of studies, examples of their application to literature and a basic bibliography for those interested in furthering their understanding of Queer Theory and literature.
