RT Conference Proceedings T1 Towards a robust robotic assistant for Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment procedures: the CLARC system A1 Romero-Garces, Adrian A1 Marfil-Robles, Rebeca A1 Martinez-Cruz, Jesus A1 Bandera-Rubio, Juan Pedro A1 Bandera-Rubio, Antonio Jesús K1 Ingeniería robótica AB Socially assistive robots appear as a powerful toolin the upcoming silver society. They are among the technologiesfor Assisted Living, offering a natural interface with smartenvironments, while helping people through social interaction. The CLARC project aims to develop a socially assistive robotto help clinicians perform Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment(CGA) procedures. This robot autonomously drives some testsand processes, saving time for the clinician to perform moreadded-value activities, like designing care plans. The projecthas recently finished its first two phases, and now it facesits final one. This paper details the current prototype of theCLARC system and the main results collected so far during itsevaluation. Then, it describes the updates and modificationsplanned for the next year, in which long term extensiveevaluations will be conducted to validate its acceptability andutility.
