This study aims to characterize both the socio-demographic profile and the working conditions of workers with accidents in the agricultural sector in Spain. In order to achieve the proposed objective, an analysis is carried out of 318,613 accidents obtained from the Statistics of accidents at work of the Government of Spain between 2009 and 2018. After carrying out a preliminary analysis based on occupational accidents in the agricultural sector, a set of six variables: (1) geographical area, (2) gender, (3) age, (4) type of contract, (5) length of service and (6) company staff. The analysis of the seriousness of accidents in the agricultural sector show the majority of accidents are minor (98.23% of the total). The socio-demographic profile of the injured worker is male (82.05%), between 30 and 49 years of age (55.96%), with a high degree of seasonality (56.90%), with little seniority (less than 4 months) and belonging to small and medium-sized enterprises.
