Therefore we redefine the concept of distributed knowledge in order to distinguish between implicit and explicit knowledge. The most useful tool to do this is the concept of awareness, as a way of limiting and selecting what the agents really know. In this sense we propose a collective awareness that ensures full explicit communication and shows the dynamic aspects of the information exchange in a group. Depending on the definition of this collective awareness we are able to model the various ways in which the agents behave during communication.
