AB En este estudio se reivindica la figura de Juan Agustín Cean-Bermudez como estudioso dela escultura antigua, a través de su obra más conocida: las Antigüedades Romanas. Con ello sepretende mostrar al lector el grado de conocimiento que se poseía en España sobre esta materiaen el primer tercio del siglo XIX.
AB In this study figure Juan’s Agustín Cean-Bermudez is claimed like studious of the oldsculpture, through its good known work: the Roman Antiques. With it is sought to show it tothe reader the degree of knowledge that was possessed in Spain on this matter in the first thirdof the XIX century.
