Such trend has resultedin an enormous amount of online resources which can be hard to findand identify, let alone execute and exploit. Furthermore, these resourcesare aimed -in general- to solve specific tasks. Usually, this tasks need tobe combined in order to achieve the desired results. In this line, findingthe appropriate set of tools to build up a workflow to solve a problemwith the services available in a repository is itself a complex exercise. Issuessuch as services discovering, composition and representation appear. On the technological side, mobile devices have experienced an incrediblegrowth in the number of users and technical capabilities. Starting fromthis reality, in the present paper, we propose a solution for service discoveringand workflow generation while distinct approaches of representingworkflows in a mobile environment are reviewed and discussed. As aproof of concept, a specific use case has been developed: we have embeddedan expanded version of our Magallanes search engine into mORCA,our mobile client for bioinformatics. Such composition delivers a powerfuland ubiquitous solution that provides the user with a handy tool fornot only generate and represent workflows, but also services, data types, operations and service types discovery PB Springer, Cham YR 2018 FD 2018-03 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10630/15739 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10630/15739 LA eng NO Holthausen R., Díaz-Del-Pino S., Pérez-Wohlfeil E., Rodríguez-Brazzarola P., Trelles O.
