A1 Escribano-Serrano, José A1 Escribano Cobalea, María A1 García-Agua-Soler, Nuria K1 Obesidad K1 Diabetes K1 Atención primaria K1 Farmacología AB Aims:Theaimofthisstudyistoanalysetheeffectofpharmacologicalandnon-pharmacologicaltreatmentonweightcontrolinpatientswithdiabetesandobesity.Design:Epidemiological,descriptive,cross-sectionalstudy.Site:Primarycare.In11healthcentresinMálagaandCádizduringAprilandOctober2022.Participants:281patientsover18yearsoldwithtype2diabetesandobesityareincluded.Mainmeasurements:Socio-demographics,clinical,treatmentandlifestylehabitsvariableswereobtainedfrommedicalrecordsandpersonalinterview.Descriptivestatisticswereobtainedforcontinuousvariables.Statisticaltestswereperformedbasedonthenatureofthevariables.Results:Variableslikemaritalstatus,levelofeducationandoccupation,andsmokinghabit,showsdifferencesregardingthesex(p<0.05).82.3%ofthosewhoreceivededucationlostweight,comparedto67.5%oflostweightwhoreceivednohealtheducation(p=0.004).GLP1andSGLT2weremorecommonlyprescribedforwomen(p=0.048),andSGLT2morecommonlyprescribedformen(p=0.047).PatientstakingGLP1,SGLT2orboth,regardlessofsex,weightlossduringthestudyperiodwas−3.1kg(SE:0.60),whilethelossofthosewhotookothermedicationswas−1.33kg(SE:0.62).Themeandifferencewas1.75kg(p=0.046).Conclusions:Intermsofweightloss,obesediabeticswhotookGLP1,SGLT2orbothwere2.5timesmorelikelytoloseweightthanthosewhodidnot.Healthylifestylechoicesarekeytoweightlossinobesediabeticpatients PB Elsevier YR 2023 FD 2023-10-17 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10630/28731 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10630/28731 LA eng NO Antonio Hormigo Pozo, Desireé Torres Ortega, Antonio J.
