AB Este artículo analiza la evolución del Partido único en Málaga durante los primeros veinteaños del franquismo. Con ese fin, se estudia al personal falangista y las políticas emprendidas poresta organización durante esos años. Así se muestran, por un lado, los intentos del movimientofalangista por ampliar su ya amplio poder en la ciudad; y por otro, se abordan los intentos delas otras familias del régimen para impedirlo. Todo ello enmarcado en el contexto nacional ycomparado con las aportaciones que la historia local española ha realizado sobre este tema.
AB This article analyses the evolution of the only political party in Malaga during the firsttwenty years of the Franco regime. It studies the Falangist staff and the politics undertakenby this organization during this period. Thus they represent on the hand, the attempt of theFalangist movement to expand their broad power-base in the city; and, on the other hand, someaspects of the attempts of the other families of the Franco regime to stand in their way. All thisoccurs in the national context and is set against the comparative example of other regional citiesthat local historians have provided.
