RT Journal Article T1 Fuzzy closure systems: Motivation, definition and properties A1 Ojeda Hernández, Manuel A1 De-las-Peñas-Cabrera, Inmaculada A1 Cordero-Ortega, Pablo A1 Muñoz-Velasco, Emilio José K1 Lógica difusa AB The aim of this paper is to extend closure systems from being crisp sets with certainfuzzy properties to proper fuzzy sets. The presentation of the paper shows a thoroughdiscussion on the different alternatives that could be taken to define the desired fuzzyclosure systems. These plausible alternatives are discarded if they are proven impossibleto be in a bijective correspondence with closure operators. Finally, a definition of fuzzyclosure system is established and a one-to-one relation with closure operators is proved.
