AB En este trabajo se analizan, a vista de pájaro, las «cuestiones jurídicas emergentes», y la relaciónque estas guardan con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) y su realización, especialmenteen tiempos de pandemia. En primer lugar, se realizará una descripción básica de los temas que seengloban en dicha categoría de cuestiones jurídicas emergentes: temas que no tienen una regulacióncompleta, que no está clara, o que es insuficiente (o inexistente). Algunos ejemplos serían: a) medio ambiente, cambio climático y desastres; b) regulación científica, derecho y derechos humanos;c) derecho y nuevas tecnologías, y d) cultura y educación. Este es el punto de partida, confrontándolos con los ODS, estudiando los retos que la comunidad internacional tiene ante sí para lograrlos.Los ODS deben ser reinterpretados y adaptados a la realidad que deja el COVID-19, de manera realista. Se requiere la cooperación internacional, más que nunca, para afrontar el reto pospandémico.

NO In this article, it is provided a bird’s-eye view on the so-called «emerging legal issues» and theirrelationship with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in times of pandemic. Firstly, there is adescription of the topics that must be considered as «emerging legal issues»: unregulated topics, orin other words, subjects where the international regulation is unclear (or insufficient); for instance,a) environment, climate change, and disasters; b) scientific research, law, and human rights; c) lawand new technologies, and d) culture and education. This is the starting point, because these topicsmust be confronted with the SDGs, to study the challenges of the international community to makethem a reality. The SDGs must be reinterpreted and adapted to the reality left by COVID-19, in arealistic way. International cooperation is needed more than ever.
