RT Conference Proceedings T1 Análisis y diseño de filtros diferenciales basados en líneas acopladas A1 Sánchez-Martínez, Juan José A1 Márquez-Segura, Enrique K1 Radio AB The design of differential bandpass filters usingcoupled lines is presented. The topology proposed, consisting ofshort-circuited coupled lines is analyzed by means of analyticalequations. The study is carried out by using equivalent circuitmodels that provide some insights into the physical behaviour ofthe proposed structure. Furthermore, to increase the bandwidthof the filters, wire-bonded multiconductor transmission lines(MTL) are employed. Three differential filters are designed andfabricated with fractional bandwidths (FBW) of 15%, 120% and130% (3-dB FBW). The measured differential-mode responsesshow insertion losses lower than 1 dB with high common-moderejection levels greater than 20 dB. In addition, there is a verygood agreement between the theoretical and experimental results.
