This phase displays Lewis basic sites, whichcatalyzes the hydrogenation reaction of furfural to furfuryl alcohol. This catalyst will be used in the reduction offurfural to furfuryl alcohol (FFA) using isopropanol as hydrogen donor agent and dissolution medium.
