RT Book, Section T1 Interventions to Develop Preschool-Aged Children's Social Competence through Movement and Instrument for Its Evaluation A1 Romance-García, Ángel Ramón A1 Nielsen-Rodríguez, Adriana A1 González-Berciano, Noelia K1 Investigación activa en educación K1 Psicomotricidad K1 Enseñanza preescolar K1 Aprendizaje motor AB Following the rationale highlighted in the previous chapter about the importance of the development of social competence, this chapter aims to show different intervention programs that, based on scientific evidence, teachers may apply in their classes for developing social competence with preschool-aged children. In addition, the chapter shows different evaluation instruments supported by scientific articles where their validity and reliability have been assessed. Hence, this chapter may be of interest because since it is well-known that improving social competence in preschool is necessary for the children’s harmonious and holistic development, and the educators’ daily decisions have a key importance, providing different programs supported by scientific evidence may suppose an opportunity for teachers in preschools or kindergartens PB Routledge YR 2025 FD 2025-10-29 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10630/40714 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10630/40714 LA eng NO Romance, R., Nielsen-Rodríguez, A.,González-Berciano, N.
