Se citan 64 táxones (9 Chlorophyta, 14 Phaeophyta y 41 Rhodophyta). Creemos que es el primer estudio algológico realizado en estas islas. Señalamos como interesante la presencia de cistocarpos en Acrosorium uncinatum (Turn.) Kylin y la existencia de Discosporangium mesarthrocarpum (Falk.) Hauck y Gelidiella lubrica (Kütz.) Feldm. et HamelContribution to the algal marine flore of Chafarinas Islands (Alboran's sea, Western Mediterranean). 64 taxons (9 Chlorophyta, 14 Phaeophyta and 41 Rhodophyta) of marine algae from Chafarinas Islands are listed. Especially may be mentioned Discosporangium mesarthrocarpum (Falk.) Hauck and Gelidiella 1ubrica (Kütz.) Feldm. et Hamel. Acrosorium uncinatum (Turn.) Kylin are cystocarps.
