DATAFILE: Video of the prototype and data on which the results of the research on the “Interest in applying BIM to the visualization of information in seat reservation systems” are based. AUTHORS: María Jesús García Granja METHODOLOGY The collection of primary information was undertaken through a structured online questionnaire with 40 questions, designed using the Google Forms tool. This data collection began on 1/7/2020 and was open for completion until 31/12/2020 at 23:55 hours. The methodological strategy followed was a case study implemented through a process of observation, description and analysis of a case of research interest: to collect the opinion of the respondents, by obtaining indicators on the six dimensions of greatest importance to instrumentalize the concept. For the design of the online questionnaire, the reference literature was reviewed and the questionnaire was validated by experts from the Sociological Practice Research Committee of the Spanish Federation of Sociology. And, for information collection, a quantitative approach was chosen based on the administration of a questionnaire to obtain data that were then analyzed with the SPSS statistical program for social sciences. The quality indicators selected were based on the most significant variables of the definitions of quality as stated by the experts in this field, such as usefulness, suitability for use, attractiveness, excellence and user satisfaction. The results of validating the method indicate that users value the quality of the information positively, show great interest in it and consider it comparatively superior to other reservation systems used.
