An ad hoc open-ended questionnaire was designed to collect information, with the goal of encouraging reasoned, reflective, and contextualized responses from faculty. The instrument was structured around six key thematic areas, defined after a theoretical review of the current debate on GAI in education: -Faculty knowledge and attitudes toward GAI -Perceptions of pedagogical benefits and opportunities -Perceived challenges and obstacles to adoption -Potential uses for personalized learning and feedback -Useful applications for assessment and content generation -Ethical issues and risks associated with educational use of GAI Questionnaire validation: Expert judgment technique 12 university faculty members (Research experience in: Educational technology, Artificial intelligence in pedagogical contexts, and Qualitative instrument design) Sample: The sample is composed of 223 faculty members from nine public Andalusian universities—specifically, the Universities of Málaga, Granada, Jaén, Córdoba, Almería, Seville, Huelva, Cádiz, and Pablo de Olavide—as well as from two affiliated institutions: the University School of Osuna and the “María Inmaculada” Teacher Training Center in Antequera. ------------------------------------------------ More information: María Inmaculada Jiménez Perona. mijperona@uma.es
