Immigrants' desire to integrate into the host community is often frustrated by their geographical origin, lack of social support, difficulty with the local language, unemployment, etc. (Moscato 2022).
This research uses the sense of community as the primary variable to measure the level of community integration of foreigners living in Spain. It is also found that social support and cultural identification are factors that facilitate integration, while perceived discrimination hinders integration. The proposed model predicts 52.5% of the variance.
