dc.description | Respuesta de la editorial: Posting/self-archiving chapters falls under our Green Open Access model, details of which are on a page on the Routledge site here. The site includes information about what can be uploaded and when, as well as some advice about adding Creative Commons licences, but I think the relevant details are: The policy refers to self-archiving of the earlier version of the chapter or 'Accepted Manuscript' (AM). An AM is the post-contract but pre-production (i.e. not copyedited, typeset, or proofread) Word Document/PDF version of the chapter that has been approved for publication. Contributors may upload one chapter per edited collection. Authors may upload the Accepted Manuscript chapter to a closed (not publicly accessible) departmental or institutional repository immediately after publication of the book (what is often referred to as the Version of Record), so that it is freely available for anyone within your institutional network to access. Such a repository is accessible to students or staff members only. Authors can post their chapter to an open repository or academic social media site (such as Mendeley, ResearchGate or Academia.edu), or a personal or departmental website (including Facebook, Google groups, LinkedIn and Twitter), after 18 months have passed since publication. The chapter that's posted should be the 'Accepted Manuscript' - the final Word Document/PDF version of the chapter, which has been accepted for publication can be made available but not the copyedited, typeset and proofread final version. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Children enjoy particularly strong protection from international and European regulations. At the national level, Ley Orgánica 1/1996, de 15 de Enero, de Protección Jurídica Del Menor, de Modificación Parcial Del Código Civil y de La Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil and Ley 26/2015, de 28 de julio, de modificación del sistema de protección a la infancia y a la adolescencia, inter alia, materialise those guarantees. However, the problem arises when talking about unaccompanied migrant minors, since the laws on migration also come into play. In this case, it is a challenge to determine what the superior good of the minor is and how to make it prevail. For that reason, the present chapter analyses the regulations applicable to immigrant minors arriving in Spain; in particular, in Andalusia, and evaluates how this regulation affects the rights of these minors. This assessment will allow determining whether the legislation, which theoretically seeks to ensure the best interests of the child, is as effective as it is hoped | es_ES |
