Abstract
Radon gas present in the ground penetrates into homes through different routes, accumulating especially in rooms close to the ground. The dose received from radioactivity due to inhalation of radon inside houses poses a significant risk of lung cancer. It is necessary to design buildings in which the penetration of radon is difficult or prevented and/or its removal is increased.
