Abstract
Estudios recientes muestran la importancia de promover una enseñanza de la historia que contribuya a la formación del pensamiento histórico y a la adquisición de competencias para evaluar críticamente la información y comprender el presente desde sus conexiones con el pasado. El objetivo del artículo es diseñar y validar un cuestionario sobre concepciones y prácticas del profesorado de la materia de historia en Bachillerato, en relación con la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de competencias de pensamiento histórico. Respecto al método, se ha aplicado un diseño instrumental concretado en una evaluación inter-jueces con un análisis descriptivo del contenido. También se ha calculado la W de Kendall, el Índice de Validez del Contenido (IVC) y el índice V de Aiken. Para la fiabilidad se calculó el índice alfa de Cronbach, y para medir la estructura factorial del instrumento se hizo un Análisis de Componentes Principales (ACP), con rotación Varimax. Como resultado, el instrumento muestra unas propiedades psicométricas adecuadas para recoger información válida y fiable. En conclusión, se presenta la versión final del instrumento, denominado Cuestionario sobre percepciones acerca de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de competencias históricas (CUPECH).
Recent studies support the importance of promoting the teaching of history in order to favour the formation of historical thinking and the acquisition of skills to critically evaluate information and understand the present from its connections with the past. The aim of this article is to design and validate a questionnaire on the conceptions and practices of history teachers in Baccalaureate, in relation to the teaching and learning of historical thinking skills. Regarding the method, an instrumental design was applied, consisting of an inter-judge evaluation with a descriptive content analysis. Kendall’s W, the Content Validity Index (CVI) and Aiken’s V index were also calculated. Cronbach’s alpha index was calculated for reliability, and a Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with Varimax rotation was used to measure the factorial structure of the instrument. As a result, the instrument shows adequate psychometric properties to collect valid and reliable information. In conclusion, the final version of the instrument, called Questionnaire on Perceptions of Teaching and Learning Historical Competencies (CUPECH), is presented.
