Abstract
Se presentan los objetivos, enfoque y despliegue del servicio de atención al usuario en línea a través de WhatsApp de la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Málaga, especialmente para los periodos de apertura de 24 horas, incidiendo en los horarios extraordinarios, durante tres periodos al año, coincidentes con las épocas de preparación de exámenes por parte del alumnado, donde el usuario recurre a los mismos para resolver dudas puntuales, planteadas desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento.
Se analizan los resultados obtenidos y el cumplimiento de los objetivos desde su puesta en marcha, las revisiones y mejoras llevadas a cabo a la vista de ello y las perspectivas de futuro del servicio, así como las conclusiones a las que conduce.
This paper presents the objectives, scope and development of a user assistance service via WhatsApp by the library of the University of Málaga. This service is aimed at the 24-hour opening periods, speciafically for extraordinary opening hours three times a year during the students´ exam period. At this time, the user resorts to this service for claring out exceptional doubts, anywhere and any time. This paper presents and analysis of the results obtained, together with the goals achieved since it was launched. It also describes the revisions and improvements done, the expectations for the future, and the conclusions drwan from this work.
