El diseño de la experiencia arquitectónica

Abstract

Resumen: A través de la teoría de Steven Holl, Peter Zumthor y Juhani Pallasmaa, se propone una síntesis de la misma a través de ocho conceptos que he considerado clave a la hora de realizar cualquier proyecto. Estos arquitectos hablan de la importancia de la experiencia de la arquitectura, de los sentidos en la misma y de cómo generar y ver la arquitectura mediante esta vía. Todo ello se puede englobar en el ámbito de la fenomenología. Gracias a la teoría, he sido capaz de dar palabras a intuiciones y pensamientos que he tenido a la hora de proyectar, pero siempre han sido inefables para mí. Por ello, debido a que he sido capaz de reconocer esto, se propone ilustrar en un portfolio cómo esta teoría ha influido en mi modo de proyectar, acompañando cada uno de los proyectos seleccionados con textos que describen la influencia de ésta, así como información gráfica para poder reconocer cada proyecto.

Abstract: Through Steven Holl, Peter Zumthor and Juhani Pallasmaa’s theories, a synthesis is proposed with eight concepts which I have considered key when I had to carry out a project. These architects talk about the importance of the experience in architecture, the senses and how to generate and see architecture by this way. All this can be included in the field of phenomenology. Thanks to the theory, I have been able to give words to intuitions and thoughts that I have had when projecting, but they have been ineffable for me. Therefore, since I have been able to recognize this, it is proposed to illustrate in a portfolio how this theory has influenced my way of projecting, accompanying each of the selected projects with texts that describe its influence, as well as graphic information to be able to recognize each project.
